Privacy at UX Patterns Guide
The learning and work tools keep your drafts on your device. We use aggregate analytics and operate the newsletter launch list.
Browser-local work and selections
Lesson progress and optional artifacts, Practice attempts and review checks, work-tool drafts, saved items, and Lab selections are kept in this browser's local storage. Written work is not uploaded to our servers. You can copy or download it. A Lab link you choose to share includes its pattern selection and shortlist in the URL. Clearing browser data or using another device may remove locally saved records; if storage is blocked, you can still use the pages and copy your work or Lab link manually.
Newsletter
The newsletter has not launched yet. When you join the launch list, we store your email address, signup page, consent version, and relevant campaign label. We use this information only to announce the first issue and send future UX Patterns Guide issues.
Launch-list records are stored in Google Cloud Firestore. When delivery begins, confirmation and newsletter email may be processed by Resend. We do not sell subscriber information.
Analytics
We use Umami to understand aggregate visits and interactions such as searches, pattern opens, Lab use, learning and practice steps, work-tool use, sharing, and newsletter success. Events may include a lesson or workflow identifier and selected guided-choice number. We do not send written reasons, drafts, email addresses, or other free-form answers to Umami.
Your choices
Every delivered issue will include an unsubscribe route. Before launch, or at any time afterward, you may request access or deletion by emailing artpar@gmail.com.
